Mayor Zheng visited Yuli Company to thank for the delivery of the COVID-19 vaccines

Taoyuan Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan visited Yuli Pharmaceutical Logistics Center today. In addition to thanking Yuli for taking over the task of storing and delivering the first batch of  COVID-19  vaccines, he also invited him to enter the Shalun Industrial Park, which focuses on the logistics industry. In the future, they will cooperate to promote the green energy logistics industry.

Mayor Zheng said that Yuli Company has the largest pharmaceutical logistics center in Taiwan, and thanked Yuli for taking over the task of storing and delivering the first batch of Wuhan pneumonia (COVID-19, 2019 coronavirus disease) vaccines, and sending them to Yuli for cold chain storage in Dayuan Park, Follow-up also assists in the safe delivery of vaccines to hospitals to ensure that front-line medical staff receives vaccine protection first.

Mayor Zheng said that Yuli Company plans to expand investment in Taoyuan and build a next-generation logistics center. The city government not only assists in human resources matching but also discusses the feasibility of industry-university cooperation. During the period of investment promotion in the industrial park, it will also assist in reporting to the central government to relax the land specification standards for the logistics industry in the production and special regulations.

Mayor Zheng pointed out that there are currently more than 1,800 logistics industries in Taoyuan City. In response to the trend of the new logistics industry, the city government will cooperate with large-scale logistics centers to promote energy conservation, carbon reduction, and intelligent management. The city government will cooperate with Yuli Company to give priority to the Demonstration area to facilitate the subsequent promotion of the green energy logistics industry.

Zhou Zhihong, general manager of Yuli Co., Ltd., said that Yuli has a history of 32 years in Taiwan, and is currently cooperating with many foreign manufacturers. The follow-up storage and delivery of the COVID-19 vaccines are under continuous discussion, but the confidentiality of customers is not involved. It is convenient to disclose.
